Scientific degree of psychologist she got from Yerevan State Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan, Marine Avetisyan was awarded the qualification of a psychologist. Up to 1997 she practiced pedagogical psychology. Since 1997 she has worked as a professor of psychology at university of M. Sebastatsi in Sevan, at Sevan Theological Seminary and Gavar State University.
Since 1999 she has worked as a psychologist at the psychiatric clinic of Sevan, and then /2002/ at “Service for Mental Health” (a branch of the same hospital).
Scientific and practical interests are related to self psychology, to border conditions of self mentality.
She has authored about 10 scientific articles.
Now she provides psychological counseling and psychotherapy.
